MAB Thespian Troupe Headed to States for 2020 Junior Thespian Festival Competition
Congratulations to our MAB Thespian Troupe #89424! The team competed at the Florida Junior Thespians District 12 Festival and are now headed to the State festival at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando next month.
We are so proud of our middle school drama students and troupe director Jessica Fekete for the Superior and Excellent ratings in the Monologue, Duet Acting, Ensemble Acting, and Improv categories.Β Way to go Eagles!
Florida State Junior Thespians is the Florida chapter of the International Thespian Society for Middle School students. The International Thespian Society (ITS), founded in 1929, is an honorary organization for high school and middle school theatre students located at more than 4,200 affiliated secondary schools across America, Canada, and abroad.
The mission of ITS is to honor student achievement in the theatre arts. High school inductees are known as Thespians and junior high/middle school inductees are known as Junior Thespians. ITS is a division of the Educational Theatre Association (EdTA).
