New Family applications for the New 2023-2024 school year will be accepted starting on March 1st, 2023.

The admission steps for Grades 1-8 are as follows:

  • send the following documents to schedule an evaluation:

The list of requirements to schedule the evaluation for Grades 1-8

  • Submit the current school years transcripts and the previous two (2) years’ transcripts
  • Submit the student evaluation form filled out by the applicant’s current teacher
  • Submit a Psycho-social evaluation or a 504 plan for those students with learning disabilities

 

Once the parent has submitted the required documentation, they will receive an email to schedule an in-person evaluation.  acceptance/waitlist letters will be sent out via email.

Admissions for Infants and Toddlers

The Montessori Academy Infant program serves children from 8 weeks through 18 months. Our Toddlers program caters to children 18 months to 2.5 years old. Enrichment activities such as Spanish, Yoga, gymnastics, art, and music are offered daily. 

Admissions Process

8 Weeks to 2.5 years of age at time of admission

Required Documentation

  • Copy of child’s birth certificate.
  • Copy of child’s health forms.
  • Last two years of report cards and a copy of the student’s cumulative folder.
  • IEP if applicable.
  • Completed registration form.

Required School Supplies for infants through Kindergarten

School Supply List Lower School

  • 1 box of 24 colored Crayola Pencils
  • 1 box of 12 #2 pencils (Ticonderoga brand)
  • 2 erasers
  • 1 package of baby wipes
  • 3 containers of Clorox wipes
  • 1 plain letter sized low clip brown clipboard.
  • 1 gold colored pencil.
  • 1 box of Crayola crayons.
  • 1 Mead plastic blue folder (with pockets & prongs).
  • 2 cans of Lysol spray
  • 1 bottle of Tacky Glue
  • 1 bottle of hand sanitizer (8oz)
  • 1 pair of Fiskars scissors blunt tip
 
 For students entering Kindergarten only: all of the items listed for Preschool, plus:
  • 1 black and white marble composition book
  • 1 package of loose-leaf paper (wide ruled)
  • 1 one-inch binder (white)
  • 1 5-tabs/5-pocket paper divider
Please place all supplies in a brown paper bag with your child’s name in front of the bag. If
you placed your order through EPI, the supplies will arrive directly to your child’s class.

Waiting List Placement

Once the school has received all documents and a signed tuition agreement, a space will be reserved for your child. If the school has full enrollment, the applicants’ names are placed on a waiting list. As space becomes available, the administration will notify the parents about proceeding steps of the enrollment process.
