Parents have a choice of sending their own lunch, or they can order through “Yummy in my Tummy” – an organic vendor that provides a wide range of options to parents, all through their online portal.
Montessori Academy has a policy of “no chocolate, no candy, no soda”. A great emphasis on good nutrition is placed.
The Montessori Academy philosophy acknowledges that an appropriate, lower student-teacher ratio is conducive to better learning.
MAB is committed to optimizing class sizes to the following ratios by program:
Infants — 1:4 (one teacher for every 4 students)
Toddlers — 1:6 (one teacher for every 6 students)
Preschool and Kindergarten — 1:8 (one teacher for every 8 students)
Elementary — 1:10 (one teacher for every 10 students)
Middle School — 1:5 (one teacher for every 5 students)
